Wednesday's Child

During the day when I have time to write I never seem to be able to find the right words. Once I lay down to go to bed I suddenly am able to sufficiently express myself, even if my only audience is me.

  • Yep, I know just what you mean. Since I've had to make my living in a more-or-less creative field, I've made kind of a study of it. The bottom line: all time is not the same. Creative time comes when it wants and when it's gone, there's nothing you can do. In my case, first thing in the morning is magic time. Once I've cluttered up my head with all the necessary stuff, I can't find the right words for much of anything.

  • Grace...I was actually thinking about your comment, and guess when I came up with something that would be semi appropriate to say? You guessed it, as I got into bed. While I have been laying in bed I have, on more than one occasion, written entire papers in my head (and no, I was never smart enough to get up and write them down). Hey, next time I need to write a paper for a class I can just go take a nap and I will be enlightened! Wouldn't that be great!!

Hope you are having a wonderful time on your vacation!!!Say hi to your husband for me. :)
